Advancing Human Performance in Organizations.

SALUZ Institute

Every professional capability your organization invests in — leadership, judgement, learning, composure under pressure — runs on the same biological system. SALUZ Performance Labs bring that system into executive education, with evidence and without wellness language.

Macroscopic detail of a neural network, referencing the biological system underlying professional performance

01The gap

We train the capability, never the system that produces it.

Attention, learning, emotional regulation and decision-making under pressure are biological before they are behavioural. Yet almost no executive curriculum teaches how that biology works, or what changes when a leader has slept five hours, crossed three time zones and is chairing a difficult meeting at four in the afternoon.

That is the subject of a Performance Lab. It is not a wellbeing initiative.

02The science

Four territories. One connected system.

Research across neuroscience, sleep science, nutrition, exercise physiology and psychology now describes the conditions that shape performance with real precision. We translate it into learning, and update it as the evidence moves.

Brain

Attention · Learning · Cognitive performance

How focus is built and lost across a working day, and what that means for learning and judgement.

Energy

Nutrition · Metabolism · Microbiome

Why energy availability shapes cognitive endurance through long days and compressed travel.

Sleep

Recovery · Cognitive function · Resilience

The measurable cost of short nights on memory, emotional regulation and decision quality.

Movement

Brain health · Energy · Physical capacity

Movement as a cognitive intervention, not a fitness objective.

03Performance Labs

Designed around your people — not a lecture off the shelf.

A Lab is built with your team, in your programme's language and against your objectives. It runs in three movements and ends with decisions written down, not resolutions.

Understand

The evidence itself — what the research shows, and where it stops.

02

Experience

The conditions participants recognise: load, travel, compressed weeks, high-stakes calls.

06What participants say

“The workshop made me realise my breakfasts weren't really nourishing me. Small changes, I learned, can bring large improvements. Since then I have more energy through the day and no more glucose spikes.”

Laurence Vasseur

Talent Development · Ferrovial

“Highly practical. A simple change — the order in which I eat — has made a real and lasting difference to how I feel after meals.”

Bárbara Fajardo

Executive Programs Manager · IE Business School

“A genuinely enriching experience. It changed how I structure what I eat, especially in the morning, and dismantled several myths about products I had assumed were healthy.”

Miguel Ángel Almeida

Programme Manager · Headspring

“The session was, literally and metaphorically, food for thought. The shift in how I understand the effect of nutrition and energy on my cognitive capacity has been profound. I strongly recommend it to any leader who wants to see real change in their working day.”

Annimaija Raunio

Programme Manager · Headspring

07Where we work

Built into programmes that already exist.

A Lab rarely arrives on its own. It sits inside a leadership curriculum, an academy, or a leadership team's own calendar.

01

Leadership programmes

A Performance Lab built into an existing leadership curriculum, aligned to its language and objectives.

02

Executive teams

Closed sessions for leadership teams working under sustained demand and constant decision-making.

03

Corporate universities

Faculty contributions inside in-house academies and continuous development programmes.
